Subject Matter Expertise: The second most critical task in recovery from TBI is finding and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in TBI to guide you in your fight. We love, respect, and need doctors and they may become our SMEs. Although we love them, we need medical professionals and doctors with experience to reach our goals. Before we consider a contributor to be an experienced doctor or a credible source, we will try to establish that they are licensed and working in the TBI field. Until we have credible evidence we will consider the information they provide to be opinion and suspect.
Credible Sources: TBI 4 TG wants to share valuable personal experiences, find good doctors and treatments for symptoms and effects; so the information we share must be accurate and pertinent. When getting my Masters Degree as a Counter Terrorism Fellow at the U.S. War College in Washington DC, I learned the term scholarly article as a description that indicates a truly credible source What Is A Scholarly Article - Definition and Types - scholarlyoa.com. All of the information we reference does not need to come from scholarly articles but to assess the quality of the information we need to know the source. As a group, I hope that our comments on contributions will always take the time to critique the source of the information.
TBI 4 TG Source ID Policy: to make source validation easy we will give badges to each member or contributor. TBI 4 TG Staff will verify credentials prior to awarding professional badges. Members and contributors can have multiple badges. All contributors will have a badge. Members do not need to have a badge because we want anyone with TBI to have access to our work and experience no matter how much they do or don’t want to contribute.
Member Badges:
· S: Supports a TBI and has to put up with his shit. We will only award this badge once the member has fully filled out their profile forms describing their relationship to TBI.

· TBI: has experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury. We will only award this badge once the member has fully filled out their profile forms describing their condition.
· SME: a published or credentialed expert, professor and or researcher in the field of treating TBI.
· MP Medical Professional: Nurse, PA or physical therapist. Credentials must be verified.
· Dr.: A doctor. Credentials must be verified.
Truth Categories.1) we ask each Member and Contributor to hotlink the sources of your information and as much as possible, use the following categories to describe your content:
